During 1963 Jean Mill purchased a female Asian Leopard Cat and because the animal seemed lonely, Jean mill got a domestic tmale cat to entertain the female. An unexpected little female bengal cat hybrid called "Kin-Kin," was born. This particular cat produced a second generation litter of bengal kittens. IN 1975 Jean Mill started again her breeding programs following acquiring eight female Asian leopard cat hybrids (Now called the bengal cat) from Dr. Willard Centerwall. Willard was a physician and geneticist. He was was involved in research isolating the genes that are accountable for the ALC's immunity to feline leukemia. Then in 1980 Mrs. Mill brought back to California a male domestic cat from inda. This male cat overall color and pattern was very glittered but his type was very Asian leopard like.
